"Need for Speed: Most Wanted" is a type of game that has absolutely NOTHING to do with a realistic car simulator. You may find some of its features quite unusual, especially if you've played more complex games like "Juiced" or "SCAR" in the past. In these products, you had to focus the main attention on proper driving. "Most Wanted", on the other hand, will require you to know the race tracks. It is visible on your screen all the time. The map itself becomes very useful in the early stages of a career, while most tracks can surprise you in several places. You have to remember one thing. Not all paths were marked on the map. The same goes for some intersections. As for the corners, you can only get through most of them by taking your foot off the gas pedal. You don't even have to use your brakes. This is mainly due to the arcade handling of the car. Most cars act as if they are somehow glued to the track. No need to worry about possible accidents. Use the brakes ONLY if the angle you are trying to take is VERY narrow. You should avoid any contact with the surrounding barriers because they can significantly slow you down. Another important factor has already been mentioned in the previous chapter of this guide. You have to cut through most of the corners. Remember that moving onto the surrounding grass will not slow you down. The same goes for fast moves. It's best to walk in a straight line than try to stick to the main road.
Performance tuning. You may think that this game does not allow you to make any changes to your car. Well, you're wrong. These options are available, but you don't even have to use them to win. I can assure you that IT is POSSIBLE to CHOOSE ALL the tests without interfering with these options, however, it does not hurt if you take a closer look at them.
